Review: ANA Arrival Lounge, Tokyo Narita International Airport (NRT)

After flying in First Class with ANA from San Francisco, I landed in Narita Airport for my 4th trip in Japan. My first city on this trip is Osaka so I booked a separate JAL flight to ITM.

I found out that there’s an arrival lounge in NRT, so I checked it out while waiting for my incoming domestic flight.

Who’s eligible to enter ANA Arrival Lounge in NRT?

ANA First & Business Class passengers are eligible to visit on international flights on the day of arrival. Additionally, status holders for ANA are also eligible. There’s a board by the lounge’s entrance with details of eligibility. You do not need any sort of incoming flight to visit this lounge, but you’ll still need to present your previous boarding pass.

The lounge only opens from 2pm to 5:50pm (or until the last departure of an ANA-operated domestic flight).

Where is the ANA Arrival Lounge in NRT?

The lounge is located in Terminal 1. The lounge is on the arrival lobby, and arriving passengers will be able to visit it past immigration.

Be mindful if you have an incoming domestic flight which would require you to switch terminals. There are free shuttles circulating in NRT, so save some time for your transfer journey if needed.

Inside the ANA Arrival Lounge

Shower rooms can be reserved by visiting the reception.

Overall, a very simple lounge that can be handy to wait for an incoming domestic flight if you do not have Priority Pass.

Conclusion

ANA Arrival Lounge in NRT was nothing special, but arrival lounges are uncommon to begin with so it was fine to check out. Though I’ll probably just head out to Terminal 2 if I have an incoming JAL domestic flight and check the Priority Pass lounge there for next time.
