Review: Business Lounge in Sarajevo International Airport (SJJ)
As I made my way to Batumi, Georgia, I waited inside the Business Lounge in SJJ to wait for my upcoming flight after checking out of the Courtyard Sarajevo.
How to Get to Business Lounge in SJJ
The lounge can be accessed with a Business Class ticket or Priority Pass Select. In my case, I got access through the Business Class ticket of my Turkish Airlines flight in the Airbus A320.
The lounge is right after security check. SJJ is a small airport so just follow the sign. Keep in mind that you can only get to the Business Lounge, and not the Premium Business Lounge.
Inside SJJ Business Lounge
To get in the lounge, you must present your boarding pass at the reception desk. Once you’re clear, you can head to the main lounge’s area to the right of reception.
The lounge offers plenty of seats, and it wasn’t really occupied when I was there.
The cushioned seats have power outlets alongside them.
Flight info display is also inside the lounge to check for departure times.
Food options are limited to snacks like nuts, chips, cakes, and packaged sliders and croissants.
Soft drinks options include sodas and juices. Particularly, there’s a lot of Cockta bottles, a soft drink popular in Bosnia & Herzegovina, and possibly in the Balkans, originating from Slovenia.
The lounge has bathroom to the left of the reception desk. For men’s restroom, there were no urinals. The toilet was sadly very disgusting which led me to believe it’s not maintained properly. The bathroom just outside of the lounge fare better than the one here.
That’s pretty much all there’s to it to this small lounge. Thank goodness I won’t have to come back to this toilet anytime soon.
Conclusion
The Business Lounge in SJJ is really nothing special. There’s plenty of seats, but food options are limited, though it has decent selection of soft drinks. The bathroom is something out of a horror movie, however.
