Review: The Club MSY Lounge- Louis Armstrong New Orleans International Airport
After checking out of the Kimpton Hotel Fontenot at 3am, I head to MSY to catch an early flight back home after watching the Tekken World Tour Finals 2023.
The Club MSY Location
The Club MSY is located in Concourse A past security. Look for The Club MSY signs that are pretty apparent.
Inside The Club MSY
I gained access to the lounge with Priority Select from the Capital One Venture X. I arrived at 4am, which was the time when the lounge opened.
The lounge was pretty much empty during its opening hours. Plenty of seats are available, but I can see how it would get overcrowded during the busy hours.
The lounge has a bar area covered by the frosted glass windows just pas the main lounge area. Hanging teardrop light bulbs seems to be the rage for this lounge.
The lounge comes with a coffee machine and soft drinks fridge in the food offering section.
In the morning, naturally breakfast items would get served. Bagels, fruits, and yogurt were offered. But, you can order items from the QR code menu placed on the tables around the lounge.
The lounge also has a shower room which you can reserve for use.
The Club MSY Quiet Room
To the left of the main area, there’s a quiet room with seats offering more privacy.
There are individual rectangular pods that you can use for extra peace and quiet.
Conclusion
The Club MSY is a very standard Priority Pass lounge. Though, there are a few amenities that puts it above the worse ones, like offering a la carte menu that you can order, a nice-looking bar, a shower room, and a dedicated quiet area.
