Review: Primeclass Lounge in Tbilisi International Airport (TBS)
Before heading to Baku, Azerbaijan, I waited inside the Primeclass Lounge in TBS. The last Primeclass Lounge I visited was in Bodrum, so the one in Tbilisi will be my second Primeclass Lounge visit. It’s also the only available lounge inside TBS. Primeclass Lounges will typically fall into what you’d expect out of a Priority Pass lounge.
How to get into Primeclass Lounge TBS
I was able to get inside the lounge through Priority Pass Select I received from the Amex Marriott Bonvoy Brilliant Card. Business Class passengers will be able to access it as well. The lounge is located just right after security check and passport control.
Inside Primeclass Lounge TBS
The lounge is divided into two parts. One being the “outer” portion just behind reception where there’s a skylight and bar as main features.
Weirdly enough, there’s a singular table with a stationary bike attached next to a shelf of decorative displays.
Flight info display is also here to see flight departure times and boarding status.
The bar offers alcoholic drinks, coffee, and soft drinks. Though you can also get coffee and soft drinks on your own in the inner portion of the lounge. Wi-Fi is also available by scanning the QR code or inputting the password.
The inner portion is enclosed, and you’ll see lots of paintings on the walls with more seating available.
Food station’s by the seats, and they overall look unappealing and disappointing in taste.
I just had the saddest and driest chicken fingers and meatballs shown below, and it made me not want to try other options.
At least the drinks are decent. There’s sodas, flavored water, beer, juice, and Borjomi carbonated water in cans.
The lounge’s bathroom surprisingly has a luxurious feel compared to the rest of the lounge. All black marbles with stylish round black sinks, urinals, and toilets. Some aspects of it reminded me of the hotel I checked out at before coming to the airport, the Paragraph Freedom Square.
That’s all pretty much what the lounge has to offer, however.
Conclusion
Primeclass Lounge in TBS is just a plain average lounge overall. I liked the decors of the lounge, but the food is something left to be desired. It is the only lounge option in TBS, so it beats waiting at the gates by default. It’s just not the lounge I would go out of my way for.
