Review: Air France Lounge Paris CDG Terminal 2F
After a long layover from our Air France flight from SFO and staying a night at the airport Moxy, we moved our way to Prague the next morning. Before our flight, we’d stay at the Air France Lounge at CDG’s Terminal 2F close to our boarding gate.
Air France Lounge Paris CDG Terminal 2F- Location
As the name implies, the lounge is in CDG’s Terminal 2F which tend to serve transit travelers such as ourselves. Direction to the lounge is clear from the airport signs after security check. The lounge opens from 5:30AM-10:00PM, and we got there just as it opened.
Inside
Air France Lounge Paris CDG Terminal 2F
To enter, you can scan your eligible boarding pass for access on the automated gates. You can register for extra guest if you’re either:
- Flying La Premiere
- Have Flying Blue Gold status or higher
- Have SkyTeam Elite Plus status
The lounge starts to feel huge right after you pass the abstract wall.
The lounge are split to 2 floors with plenty of seating arrangements and food and drinks sections.
There’s a bar on the far right corner of the lounge’s first floor.
Food options are spread throughout the whole lounge. The options are all the same, but caters to multiple clusters of the lounge. You definitely won’t go hungry in this lounge! Everything was especially fresh in the morning.
Inside the pots are scrambled eggs and nicely cooked bacon.
There are interesting alcohol options, but I’m not one to drink at dawn. The Tabasco goes well with the scrambled eggs though.
Cold drink storages are accompanied by coffee/tea stations.
The stairway to the second floor is quite impressive with the curve designs! Honestly reminded me of the Heydar Aliyev Center in Baku, Azerbaijan. It was raining at the time, and it was just cool to see rain sliding down the glass windows.
The runway views from the second floor is something else!
There are more amenities on the second floor, including a spa, showers, and napping rooms.
The spa was not yet opened when I was there, but you could get some massages before your flight here!
Shower rooms are behind the oxford blue doors like below. To enter, just take the door sign and scan the QR code to the scanner next to it. Absent door sign implies the room is occupied, which is another great design choice. Air France’s colorway is just so attractive too!
Napping rooms aren’t as plentiful as the showers, but I did manage to give them a try. I didn’t think the curved chairs helped me sleep though, but I think it was more of the jetlag I was experiencing. The lights can be switched on/off next to the lounging chair, and the curtains can be drawn for privacy.
Conclusion
The Air France Lounge in CDG’s Terminal 2F is one of the most beautiful lounges I’ve been on. The lounge felt well-designed and comes with great food and drinks options. It truly showcases Air France’s trademark blue and white colorways in tasteful ways.
