New JW Marriott Tashkent Just Opened: Details & Pricing
A new luxury hotel in Uzbekistan has just opened out of nowhere in December 2, 2025, and it is the JW Marriott in the capital Tashkent! Previously, only the Courtyard was Marriott’s sole footprint in this country.
JW Marriott Tashkent Details
The hotel is located by Tashkent City, the business center of the city that’s been under construction for a while. Near it is Tashkent City Park which is the largest park of the city. It will also be perpendicular to the Hilton Tashkent City, a great luxury hotel that I’ve stayed at more than 3 years ago. Right next to the JW Marriott is also next to the Tashkent City Mall which wasn’t built when I was in Uzbekistan in 2022.
The hotel will have amenities like restaurants, executive lounge, spa, indoor pool, and even an infinity pool! Pictures are courtesy of Marriott:
Base Deluxe rooms start at 39sqm in size which is decent. But, I bet that upgrades would be quite easy for elite members here. In my experience, I got some of the best hotel upgrades in Central Asia, including in the next-door Hilton when they upgraded me to a suite just as a Hilton Gold!

The way the bathtub is positioned behind a sliding door next to the bed is very similar to the layout of JW Marriott Absheron Baku.

During the evenings, fountain shows may play at Tashkent City Park, and you could get a nice view from the infinity pool which sounds exciting!

JW Marriott Tashkent Pricing
Prices in cash demands around $300+ minimum and can be more depending on the season. This is very expensive for Uzbekistan! But, with Marriott points, the rates become much more attractive. It’s a Category 3 hotel, making 35K Free Night Certificates very much guaranteed as redemption method.

Conclusion
I’ve been thinking on going back to Central Asia for a while, and Uzbekistan’s definitely a great place that I’d like to visit again. The opening of the JW Marriott is exciting, and I’d love to see it for myself and see how Tashkent has developed over the years since my past visit.
